Underground Caves

Visit Rincón

Originally settled in the 16th century by the Spanish, Rincon isn’t just Bonaire’s oldest town, it’s also the oldest settlement in all of the Dutch ABC islands. Stop by the Museo Chich’i Tan, a house that’s more than 130 years old, and features the history of Bonaire’s earliest tools, musical instruments, artists and local food.

Kayak in the mangroves of Lac Bay

Almost 70% of all species swimming around the waters of Bonaire were born in here. The mangrove forest at Lac Bay is protected and amongst one of the best-preserved in the Caribbean. You can kayak through wonderful sets of tunnels, see wild life both above and below water and learn about the importance of these forest.

Visit the inhabited Klein Bonaire (Small Bonaire)

Just 5 minutes from Bonaire is Klein Bonaire, an inhabited island that offers the best of both worlds; a long beach with crystal clear water and astonishing reefs.
