Attentive approach to Digital Nomadism and Family homes.

You might know this, but as we say in Prague: “repetition is a mother of wisdom”.

Right now there are people who are looking for a month + long stays and have very hard time finding their home.

The fact is that most Airbnb hosts and even some management companies don’t optimise the prices of their Airbnb listings for mid-term reservations,

besides the seasonal and daily adjustments.

Another common (however unconscious) lack of empathy, right after the mid-term un-pricing, is absence of a pleasant space to work, relax or exercise.

Some adjustments might be as easy as foto-invitation to your favourite place down (or up) the street.

What we always recommend to our host-partners is to feel and embody the experience of their ideal guests in their homes, by ideally testing and living 2+ days at their property themselves.

Everyone wants to feel at home. And while your ideal guest could be a young family on a vacation,

it might as well be a digital nomad on a month long work-ation.

The needs and home requirements of each ‘’avatar’’ will be different, yet almost all of the child, yogi and digital amenities can be easily augmentable, and most even synchronizable.

A child might need a potty pot or an adjustable toilet seat, rigid bowl and blunt cutlery, while digital nomad needs to be assured of swift internet, adaptable sockets, and most of all – comfortable workspace.

Having optimised pricing strategy at Olive homes for both (round the year) – short and mid-term stays, and constantly improving the space and amenities for each of our ideal guests had helped us to increase the yearly revenue of each property, but most of all to improve the experience of each guest who feels to have their – home in Prague ever since.
